Westmoreland County Community College
Date: Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 9 am - 1 pm
Location: Youngwood, Pennsylvania at the WCCC Campus
Ages: 9 - 13
This is a class you don't want to miss! Your child will tie on an apron as we prepare a menu that includes ‘Kickin Chicken’, Oven Baked Fries, Chocolate Fondue accompanied by fresh fruit and freshly squeezed lemonade. Please call the college at (724) 925-4190 to register your "junior chef" today.
“Picnic in the Park”
Monroeville Parks and Recreation Department
Date: Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from 10 am - 2 pm
Location: Monroeville Community Park (West - Pavilion #3)
Ages: 9 - 13
Come enjoy the summer sun and join us for a "Picnic in the Park" as the Children's Cooking Connection takes our kitchen outdoors! We'll prepare easy and delicious summer picnic foods in a park pavilion. Our recipes will include favorites like homemade potato salad, 'kickin' chicken, and fresh squeezed lemonade just to name a few.
